    Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via Lhasa covers major cultural sites of Lhasa, Gyantse, Shigatse, and the pilgrimage site Kailash Mansarovar.     Our trip starts with a spectacular Mountain View flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa and an overnight stay for 3 days in the beautiful city of Lhasa. A guided tour and acclimatization in Lhasa for 3 days will be more helpful for your entire trip to adjust your body to the high altitude. After the cultural trip in central Tibet- Lhasa, we further drive to Lake Mansarovar and Mount Kailash, which lies in the Ngari region of Tibet. We explore holy Lake Mansarovar and make three days Kailash Parvat Kora/ Parikrama on foot or by horse. The whole tour of  Lhasa Kailash Tour is driving on the well-paved road except for the three days of the Kailash kora.

    Meet at the Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. Our representative will greet you and escort you to the hotel for check-in and Aarati at Pashupatinath. Stay overnight.

     Early morning after breakfast, we visit Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath Stupa, and Swyamabhunath Stupa. Lunch on the way. In the Evening Trip Preparation and Briefing

    The day begins with a morning visit to Pashupatinath Temple, where pilgrims can attend the sacred morning Aarati and experience the spiritual atmosphere along the bank of the Bagmati River. After the Aarati, proceed to Guhyeshwari Temple, a revered Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Guhyeshwari. Once complete exploring Guhyeshwar, continue the spiritual journey with a visit to Jal Narayan temple, also known as Budhanilkantha, renowned for its impressive reclining statue of Lord Vishnu. Here, the remarkable reclining image of Lord Vishnu resting on a bed of serpents offering a memorable glimpse into Nepal’s rich Hindu heritage. Take time to explore these sacred landmarks and absorb the traditions, architecture, and devotion that surround them. Later, return to Kathmandu and enjoy some time at leisure to relax and prepare for the upcoming Kailash yatra. The day concludes with an overnight stay in Kathmandu, allowing you to rest comfortably before the next stage of pilgrimage.

    On your arrival in Tibet, we will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Taking it slow the rest of today, you can adjust to the altitude more easily and quickly. Remember to drink plenty of water and get plenty of sleep for the long journey ahead.

    Today we start our sightseeing from Barkor Street, then visit Jokhang Temple, after that we will visit Sera Monastery, which was built in the 15th century, located a few miles from Lhasa city, and Barkhor Market, which is a traditional Tibetan market of Tibet.

    Further, our waylays in the capital of the province of Tsang - Shigatse - residence of the Panchen Lama - the second ecclesiastic of Tibet. Early in the morning, an excursion to a monastery of Tashilhunpo (it is based on 1447), visiting a temple of the Buddha of the future - Maitreya, and also other temples of the monastery. Overnight at the hotel.

    Early morning, take breakfast & drive to Saga and meet the staff from Kathmandu. From Tingri to Saga will take 7 hours. The staff will make fresh meals. Overnight at 4-star hotels in Saga

    The day starts with full of excitement, by late afternoon, you can have the first sight of Holy Kailash Parbat and Manasarovara. Hore, a small village near Lake Manasarovar, we will spend a night there.

    Manasarovar is the lake of compassion, tranquillity, and bliss. After completing the memorable morning bath, we will head towards Darchen in the evening, around 4 PM. It is considered a base camp for the Holy Kailash Parikrama.

    It is one of the exciting days walking along the beautiful rocky cliffs; waterfalls with some clouds in the clear blue sky make you feel that Great God Shiva is everywhere with tons of blessings for you. Time to time, the face of Kailash Parbat will keep on appearing. For a 15 km trail, it takes almost 6 hrs.

    Hardest but Holiest day of your pilgrimage Yatra with Dolma-La (pass) of 18600ft between two valleys. Yamasthal should be crossed to reach the Shiva-sthal as your steps go closer to the pass. Once you reach the top, just do the holiest offering and sit down for meditation to forget you. Once your steps go down, Parvati-sthal and Gauri Kunda are on the way. By the late afternoon, you will arrive at ZuthalPuk (the cave of Miracles. The great ascetic Milerappa is supposed to have performed miracles here.

    After walking 3 hours, the driving crew will be waiting for your arrival. By late afternoon, you will be at your lodge in Saga.

    The morning after breakfast, we pack up our belongings and then set off for Paryang. Today, we traverse approximately 210 km to reach Kyirong. On the way, we cross Saga and the river Brahmaputra, then take a right turn to Kyirong before we reach Peiku Lake.

    After breakfast, we drive down to the border, then continue to drive to Kathmandu. The drive takes about 6 hours to reach Kathmandu. Evening is free for independent activities.

    After completing the demanding Kailash Yatra, today is reserved as comfortable buffer day in Kathmandu. This day allows travelers to rest, recover from the journey, and gradually return to the normal routine. Depending on energy levels, you can spend time to exploring Kathmandu’s cultural and historical attractions, visiting local markets, enjoying traditional Nepali cuisine, or simply relaxing at the hotel. It is also a useful opportunity to organize luggage, shop for souvenirs, and prepare for the onward journey. Keeping this day flexible provides extra time in case of travel delays or unexpected changes while ending the pilgrimage on a peaceful and relaxed note.
