Muktinath is located in the Mustang region of Nepal which is an altitude of 3710 meters (12172 feet) that dedicated to lord Vishnu, and is considered a place of salvation and liberation. The Hindus believes that bathing in the water of Muktinath will cleanse them of sins, while Buddhist associates the site with the “Buddha of Compassion” and also believe it to be a place of liberation. The final leg of the journey involves a 1 to 2 hours of drive from Jomsom to Muktinath temple which is situated at an altitude of 3710m. A tour to Muktinath is a deeply spiritual experience, combined with scenic adventure.

Muktinath temple dedicated to lord Vishnu and the sacred 108 water spout that symbolise purifications. Upon arrival at Muktinath, pilgrims can explore the main temple, where they perform rituals, offer prayers, and take a dip in the holy water. The surrounding area is equally significant, with the famous “eternal flame” that burns at the temple entrance. Once you landed at the Tribhuvan international airport, you will be greeted by the representative of our company and from airport s/he will guide to the hotel to check in and spend overnight in Kathmandu.

In the early morning, we will visit Pashupatinath a sacred Hindu temple and enjoy the morning Aarati. After enjoying the morning Aarati, we will return to the hotel and have our breakfast and we will visit Jal Narayan and Guheswari temple. After exploring pilgrimage site, we will return to Kathmandu and explore around the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and return to the hotel and spend overnight.

To get in Pokhara, you can take either flight or drive as you wish. By flight, you will be at Pokhara within 25 minutes, but you will miss the scenery. It is better to take a tourist bus which takes approximately 7 to 8 hours to reach though it is time-consuming but it is worth it. Along the way, you can also stop for Manakamana Devi Temple and after darshan; we will again drive towards Pokhara. Once you have reached Pokhara, firstly, check in at the hotel. At the evening, we will enjoy the Pokhara’s serene and spend overnight.

From Pokhara, it only takes 25 minutes to reach Jomsom, a small town in the Mustang region and also the headquarters of the Mustang district. After reaching Jomsom, we will take a local jeep and drive Muktinath which takes about 2 to 3 hours. Once we reach Muktinath, we will visit one of the holiest sites for Hindus and Buddhists and drive back to Jomsom and spend overnight.

At morning, we will fly back to Pokhara. After reaching Pokhara, firstly, we will check in at the hotel and explore the beautiful city. In Pokhara, you can visit Tal Barahi Temple, Gupteshwor caves, Bat caves, and Mahendra cave. You can also visit David’s fall and after visiting David’s fall, return to the hotel and spend overnight.

You can either take a flight or take a drive to get into Kathmandu. After arriving in Kathmandu, check-in at your hotel and relax and you can enjoy some leisure time, explore Kathmandu’s local market and temples and spend overnight at Kathmandu.
