Mt Kailash and Manasarovar are also the main source of the four major Rivers of Asia. Sutlej, Indus, Brahmaputra, and Karnali.

    Motorbike Tour in Kailash begins from Kathmandu. We cover sightseeing in major historical places of Kathmandu, and then drive towards the Tibetan plateau. Spending 2 nights in Kerung helps your body acclimate to high altitude. Several high passes provide panoramic mountain views of Tibet Himalayas. You can find lots of nomadic settlements and chase thousands of their yaks and sheep. You can also add Lhasa, Shigatse, Everest Base Camp, Tibet, and the Guge Kingdom valley in this itinerary. Since the Kodari border is closed after the earthquake in Nepal, the Motorbike Tour to Kailash goes via another border, Kerung.

    Motorbike Tour to Kailash can run with any number of participants. Thought at least 5 or 6 members are more comfortable, and the cost can be reasonable. If you are an individual, you can join our suitable group. The best season for motorbiking in Kailash is from May to September. The rest of the months are coldest, and roads are blocked with ice.

    Briefing about the tour. Meet your mechanic, and we will collect your original passports, fill a form with one passport-sized picture of your picture for tour Tibetan visa. Overnight at the hotel.

    • Max Altitude: 1350m

    We prepare your Tibetan visa, and you can visit the UNESCO heritage sites in the Kathmandu valley. Hindu temples, Buddhist stupa, typical villages, the oldest palace, etc. It will also be your test ride before the long journey.

    You will start driving after breakfast at the Kathmandu hotel. Following the Trisuli river side of a well-paved road. After Betraoti, the road condition in between is rough. Reach Syaprubesi, which is inside Langtang National Park

    We will take a short drive to Kerung today, the first town of Tibet. Drive to Nepal Tibet boarder and cross the Tibet side after finishing all the customs formalities. The guide will take care of all the formalities. Transfer to the hotel. Simple hiking activities near the town for your body acclimatization at high altitude.

    Extra day in Kerung for acclimatization at high altitude. We can plan a short hiking tour around the valley or a riding tour around.

    After breakfast, drive to Saga. Far south, you can see snow-capped mountain peaks. Most of the time you will be driving on plains, hence a comfortable drive. We also can go further to Pariyang or to New Dongba today for overnight.

    Early breakfast and get ready for driving to Manasarovar. Late afternoon, you can have the first view of Holy Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. You also have the option to make Manasarovar Lake Parikrama by bike. Holy Mansarovar (4558m) – the highest lake of fresh water with turquoise complexion in the world, is full of fish and swans. Holy Mt. Kailash, Mt. Gurula-Mandala, and Lake Rakshash lie in its surroundings. The region is considered rich for gold and other mines, hot springs, and hundreds of wild living creatures. Night will be spent at Chui Gompa at the guest house.

    Holy Mansarovar is the lake of compassion, tranquility, and bliss. After completing the memorable morning bath at the lake. We further drive to Darchen, base camp of Mt. Kailash, and to the Tarboche valley toward the north face of Kailash. Return to Manasarovar and Overnight at the guest house.

    • Distance: 50km

    We drive back to Saga following the same way. Saga is second big town of the Kailash region.

    Drive back to Kerung following the same route

    Cross Nepal Tibet boarder and drive back to Kathmandu by the same route.

    Extra day in Kathmandu. You also can choose any activities today.
