The journey begin in Lhasa, Tibet’s cultural and spiritual capital where iconic sites like the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street offer insights into Tibetan Buddhism and the tourist alike are drawn to the serene atmosphere of Lhasa, where ancient monasteries and temples provide a deep connection to the region’s religious heritage.

From Lhasa, the tour heads westward into the Tibetan Plateau, passing through vast landscapes of high-altitude deserts, grasslands, and mountains. The journey reaches the sacred Mount Kailash, a revered peak in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon, attracting thousands of pilgrims who undertake the difficult 52 kilometers Kora around the mountain. The trek is considered both physically challenging and spiritually rewarding, as pilgrims believes that completing the Kora can purify the negative karma and lead to enlightenment.

The Lhasa Ali Kailash route also offers a rare chance to experience the remote Tibetan lifestyle, with stops in small villages and nomadic settlements along the way. The region’s isolation preserves its traditional Tibetan culture, from the unique architecture of ancient monasteries to the vibrant festivals that celebrate Tibetan Buddhism. Our representative will meet you at the airport upon your landing in Kathmandu and transfer you to your hotel. After checking in, we will take your original passports for processing your visa. Later, this afternoon, you will receive a briefing on the tour and be introduced to the team. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
 

After breakfast, it will be time to visit the Pashupatinath Temple, Guheshwori Shaktipeeth, and Jalnarayan Temple. All three are UNESCO World Heritage Sites and places of significant spiritual importance. Later in the evening, duffel bags, jackets, and backpacks will be distributed to participants, overnight in a hotel in Kathmandu.

Today we will pay a visit to the Doleshwor Mahadev Temple, which is known to be the 'head' of Lord Kedarnath in Uttarakhand. The next stop will be Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which is considered one of the best-preserved cultural heritages of the Kathmandu Valley. After that, you can shop for any gear or supplies at Thamel. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Drive to Tribhuvan International Airport, where we will join a flight to Lhasa. Your hotel will be ready to receive you once you arrive in Tibet. The rest of the day is reserved for relaxation and acclimatization to the higher altitude. Drink plenty of fluids and get enough rest for the upcoming journey. Overnight in Lhasa.
 

We'll kick off with the majestic Potala Palace as we begin our expedition around Lhasa after breakfast. Next, we will step forward to Barkhor Street and to Jokhang Temple with all their richness in culture and history. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Lhasa.

After breakfast, we take a taxi to the airport where we fly to Ali, a scenic one-hour flight over the stunning Sutlej River and Tirthapuri. On arrival, we then continue to drive to the holy Mansarovar Lake where we spend the day indulging in the beauty of the clean, fresh lake. Over-night in Mansarovar.

This day marks the start of a three-day Kailash Kora. We will drive to Tarboche, the Valley of Gods, and crossing Yamadwar, the Gateway of the God of Death. From here, we trek to Dirapuk, where we will spend the night at the guesthouse located at the base of the North Face of Mount Kailash.

This is the toughest day of the Kora, as the Dolma-La Pass is traversed, which is the highest altitude on the trek. Shiva-stal is to be seen along the way, with a steep descent down to the sacred Gaurikunda Lake. It ends in Zuthulpuk, where the famous Milarepa Cave is located. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
 

In the morning, visit the tempting Milarepa Cave, with its temples and nearby shrines. Then after breakfast, we begin to complete the remaining portion of the Kora with a 3-4 hour trek to Darchen. Rest and overnight stay in the hotel.
 

Early in the morning, we leave Darchen for Ali, drive to Ali, and then fly to Lhasa. Then enjoy the rest of the time in Lhasa and souvenir shopping. Stay overnight at a hotel in Lhasa.

Today, the trip ends in Tibet with a return flight to Kathmandu. After checking in at the hotel, guests can enjoy the evening-ambling around the hustle and bustle of the Thamel Market, shopping for souvenirs or simply relaxing. Overnight in a hotel in Kathmandu.
